Me: Abba, Father: As I look upon my rose bush and touch it, may I ask; why do roses have thorns?
Father: Because I made them to be a Remembrance to all my children.
Me: A Remembrance?
Father: Yes a Remembrance.
Me: Please can you remind me of the Remembrance?
Father: Surely since you inquire; Look at the beauty of the rose, the shape, the vibrant colors, the beautiful aroma. Look at the stages for which it grows. The eye is pleased to look upon it, the colors stimulate the senses, and the aroma captivates the mind. The brain is then activated to the beauty and the wonders of my creation. When you touch it, the thorn pricks the finger and causes pain, and draws blood. When you cut a stem and lay it out for three days, it withers and dies.
“To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:” Ecclesiastes 3:1.
Now for the Remembrance of it;
Look at My Beloved Son. He is the most beautiful thing that I have ever given as a gift to human kind. His character is vibrant with colors, His obedience to His mission gave Me a sweet smelling aroma pleasing to My senses. But when they cut Him with the crown of thorns and laid Him on the cross, He withered and was dead for three days. But as a rose dies, another comes alive, and another. I raised My Only Begotten after three days, and like the rose that keeps bringing forth more beautiful petals, I brought forth My precious Son and now He lives for ever more, and His beauty continues to bring forth. The rose is a remembrance of My Son, and for those who believe in Him and long for everlasting life, so they too shall be raised in the last day according to their works. Some to everlasting life, and some to everlasting death. When you look upon a rose, don’t be sad when the petals die and fall upon the ground, but remember, more open up in its place to continue bringing forth beauty. My children are that beauty who go forth and bring the message My Son brought with Him to the earth. And My children who believe in Him and follow after Him, will be like the never fading flower of My kingdom. They will never die. “For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle dove is heard in our land;” Song of Solomon 2:12.
John 14:15 says; “If ye love Me, Keep my commandments.”
My Beloved Son continues to bring forth beauty. For when one soul submits their all to Him, they blossom as a rose on a bush. In their spiritual walk with My Son, they shall wither and die during their trials, as they conquer, they will bring forth more buds and flourish into a beautiful rose. But each task must be accomplished to the fullest. “But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.” James 1:4 “For being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: by whom we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulation also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience, and patience, experience, and experience, hope: and hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.” Romans 5:1-5
Just as a rose bud must work to open up to its full potential beauty. The thorns of life must pierce and draw spiritual blood in order for the healing and perfection of character to blossom into a beautiful flower. And as the petals die off, and fall to the ground, that task has been conquered. If more buds do not produce and the stem has become desolate, then the whole plant has become dead, unable to bring forth beauty in all of its form. Like a rose bush that gives not of a bud and is uprooted and thrown out, so a soul is uprooted and thrown away.
“The voice said, Cry. And he said, What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the goodliness thereof is as the flower of the field: The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: because the Spirit of the LORD bloweth upon it: surely the people is grass. The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the Word of our God shall stand for ever. Isaiah 40:6-8
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the Husbandman. Every branch in Me that beareth not fruit He taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, He purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.” John 15:1-2.
Vs’s 4-8 “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye except ye abide in Me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in Me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without Me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in Me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered: and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is My Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be My disciples.”
The laws are governed for God’s children to stay in constant growth of character, budding and blooming to its greatest potential. Those who keep it shall never die. Those who do not, shall wither and die and be no more. It is written in His Word, “Thou shalt keep therefore His statutes, and His commandments, which I command thee this day, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee, and that thou mayest prolong thy days upon the earth, which the LORD thy God giveth thee, for ever.” Deuteronomy 4:40.
