Gaze at the stars and watch as they twinkle. See the moon in its brightness as it lights up the night. Oh to see beyond them at all the galaxies the LORD has created. All the other worlds He has formed and made inhabited. Soon, if we have stood stiffly for His truth, and have obeyed His commands, we will for eternity be able to gaze upon all of the creations of our Father. We will be able to visit all of the other worlds and meet the beings that inhabit them. We will be able to watch our Saviour as He creates more. We will be able to give witness of how we conquered the death that was put upon us through the sin that darkened this world. We will be able to glorify God to others of how magnificent our Saviour Jesus saved us, the lost lamb that strayed from the flock. He will rejoice with them that He has found his lost sheep and has brought them back to the fold. The angels will rejoice as well, as we all make it home to the kingdom where we belong. Their tireless efforts to help us along the way, to keep us close to God and help us in the time of need. When we pray endlessly, the LORD sends them to us to guide us in our long journey to the saving grace of Christ. But we must not give up the struggles we must endure and the trials we must face. When you feel like giving up, look up at those stars that twinkle in the night and remember, God is ever close. Jesus is not far from you.
“What is man, that Thou are mindful of him? And the son of man, that Thou visitest Him? For Thou has made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned Him with glory and honour. Thou madest Him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; Thou hast put all things under his feet: All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. O LORD our Lord, how excellent is Thy name in all the earth!” Psalm 8:4-9
Gaze upon the blue sky and watch the clouds as they float by. See the sun in its brightness as it lights up the day. Oh to pass through the billows foam to see the magnificent universe that waits for all of the unity of everything God has put together. Our world has caused a halt in the unity of all of creation. Because we are a sinful race, unlike the other beings in the universe, we have stalled the progress of all unity of everything God has brought forth. We have a great deceiver that has taken control of this earth and has brought forth great destruction . But because we are made in the image of God, we are the greatest of the creations. We must prove ourselves to God that we are like Him. That we are who He created us to be. Jesus our great example came here to show us that it can be done to withstand the enemy and conquer the world as He conquered. His tests and temptations were more severe that ours will ever be. And if the world has nothing on Him, it can have nothing on us. We must put our mind and heart to the test and run it with faith and assurance that God is on the other side waiting to reward us according to our works. Without excuses. Jesus made not one excuse of how his trials were too severe. He pushed forward knowing it was the will of His Father that He perused us no matter the outcome of His struggles. As Jesus said in His final weak moment. “Father if Thou be willing, removed his cup from me: nevertheless not My will, but Thine, be done.” Luke 22:42
In our weakest moment, no matter how it is to us, because we are weak, we must remember, that not our will, but God’s will be done. Realizing that God is in the center of all that we do, we can be comforted that we will conquer all things through Christ who is our strength. Surrender all to Him at the moment of our weakest point, and He will send His angels to attend to us.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart, and lean not on thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy path.” Proverbs 3:5-6
“Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” Proverbs 16:3
“Oh LORD I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.” Jeremiah 10:23-24.
Gaze upon the Word of God and see the lamp that is unto our feet and a light that is put unto our path, keeping our eyes upon Christ. Oh to see beyond the Words written and to cast our eyes upon the true Word in person. To be with Him whithersoever He goeth. To follow Him like baby chicks following their mother everywhere she goes. To witness the true Word in person creating, teaching, showing off His prize possessions to His friends that He has paid the price for our salvation, and has plead His blood for us; that those of us who valued His gift will stand with Him in all His personal endeavors for eternity. We are His children, His creation, His friends, His masterpieces. We were molded out of the clay by His hands. And now He is rejoicing in His accomplishments of saving that which was lost. Oh how we must give our all to this magnificent gift of our Father, our Abba, our Jehovah, our Elohim, that He loves us so much that He will give up His very best to save us. His Only Begotten. How we being so undeserving are given such a beautiful gift. Remember in the days of Noah, He grieved in His heart that he made man. “And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the LORD that He had made man on the earth and it grieved Him at His heart. "And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created form the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air, for it repenteth Me that I have made them. ” Genesis 6:6-7.
Nothing has changed since then. Does He still repenteth that He made man? Can you see the heart breaking reality of our sin? How much so that we put His precious Son on the cross for OUR sin. He didn’t deserve to die, but He died for us! How God allowed someone so precious to Him come down here to save that which was lost, that we may have life through Christ, and are blessed to go to the Father by Him.
How can we be so selfish and not acknowledge so great a sacrifice, that we continue in our own selfish ways. How it breaks my heart that He died for me and I don’t give the gratitude He deserves moreover because He gave His life for me. Oh what a heart have I! Jesus says; “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.” John 15:13-14. “Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in My name, He may give it you.” Vs’s 16.
Oh what wonderful Love is this. Can we not give back what is given? Know that HE IS!
“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD. Blessed are they that keep His testimonies, and seek Him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity; They walk in His ways. Thou has commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes! Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto thy commandments. I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments. I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly. Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed thereto according to Thy word. With my whole heart have I sought thee; O let me not wander from Thy commandments. Thy Word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against Thee.” Psalm 119:1-11
