When someone in the church or a brother or sister in Christ says that you have done them wrong and accuses you of something you know you didn't do, but they are adamant about it and says they believe another persons word over yours, are we brethren or are we rivals?
Jesus said "A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another." it also says: "If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, beween thee and him alone. If he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established." Matthew 18: 15-17.
But if they do not want to listen and still think that you are the enemy and say that they have cut ties with you, where is the example of Christ? Jesus forgave the whole world, and He died for the whole world. While on the earth did He turn away one person. If a person who claims to follow Christ turns their backs on you and believes the lies told from someone else isn't that the same as breaking the 9th commandment? bearing false witness? and believing a lie? It is also called gossip. And without going to the victim themselves to ask about it and talk with them, they would rather shun them away from themselves. This means they do not have Christ in their lives or hearts. Because Christ never shunned anyone. He came down for the vilest of offenders.
The people who bare false witness against you is not a follower of Christ. They are not doers of the word. They have not denied themselves and taken up their cross to follow Christ. But bare the resemblance of the enemy of souls.
When you feel as though you have been pushed out for no reason, then God knows that you don't belong with that group of people. He knows that you are the victim of selfishness and lies and God would rather you be without them. So don't be sad or disponded for losing those of whom you thought were your family or friends. Just know that God has protected you and has pulled you away from their influences and their demons. Rejoice in the Lord for He is good.
Move along and know you are not alone. There are more brethren and sisters who would love to add you to their family. Because they have the love of Christ in their hearts and they are the one's that God would rather you be around. Amen?
